This mineral infused face primer has a transparent, silicon like texture. It glides smoothly on the skin and applies nicely. It immediately gives the skin a matte and blurred finish. This primer reduces the shine and does not feel tacky. It is not moisturizing and does not do anything if you have extremely dry skin and have skin concerns like dry patches or textures. It does not have any fragrances and reactions on my skin. The foundation application is smooth and blend into the skin nicely because of the silicon-like texture of the primer. It does not move or set on top of the skin. The foundation looked intact once set with powder and setting spray.
Having a combination skin type, my T-zone looked nice and shine free. The pores around my nose area seems to be minimized and the textures looked less prominent. After few hours of wear my T-zone started to look oily and shiny. To eliminate that shine, I used a blotting paper and set it with a compact powder from Maybelline to touch up. The makeup looked pretty fresh afterwards.
I would suggest this primer to someone with normal skin type. If you are someone with dry skin then applying a hydrating moisturizer prior to this primer would help. For oily skin people, it does not do much after few hours of application. Blotting will definitely help but you’ll start to look greasy after an hour and so which I personally don’t find that convenient.
